Paytm X e-raktkosh

Teamed up with Paytm on a swift-paced government initiative to craft a mini app on Paytm App, aiding users in finding blood banks across India with real-time status updates.

Paytm X e-raktkosh

Diving into the professional world right after college, I landed on a project that was both challenging and rewarding. The mission was clear - build a mini app on Paytm's e-raktkosh to help users locate blood banks and check real-time blood bank status across India. Here's a glimpse into the journey.

The Tech

Building on top of Paytm's ecosystem, we utilized React and Paytm's Component Library. The Paytm Mini App SDK allowed us to expose native mobile APIs to our React app, ensuring a seamless user experience.

The Features

Users could search for blood banks based on location or select a city. They could further filter by blood group and component, check blood availability, and get contact info of the blood banks. Sharing these details was made easy with the mobile's native share feature. A straightforward, user-centric approach.

The Teamwork

Collaborating remotely from Procedure, our team of three embraced the challenge. Git became our best friend for code collaboration, and the component library helped maintain a consistent UI, resonating with Paytm's established design system.

The Learning Curve

Being my first professional endeavor, the learning curve was steep yet exhilarating. From mastering Git collaboration to deploying a live app, every step was a milestone. And oh, the joy of seeing our creation live, serving a real-world need!

Reflections

Looking back, Paytm X e-raktkosh wasn't just a project; it was a playground that honed my skills, taught me the essence of teamwork, and left me with a treasure trove of experiences.
